Polyester cord fabric is used as a carcass in production of pneumatic tyres for passenger cars and light commercial trucks. Tyres built with polyester cord fabrics are characterised by good endurance, fuel efficiency, low noise.

The indicated tyre features become apparent to a greater extent when using high-modulus, low-shrinkage (HMLS) polyester yarns for cord fabric production.
